 Current Projects

China Studies Translation Project

We will be starting a page for translations done by students and faculty at the University of Washington in their free time. The purpose of this group is to increase accessibility of academic articles related to China, whether they are written originally in Chinese or English. While our focus will be on translating scholarly work, we also encourage students who are interested in practicing their Chinese to participate with translations of newspaper articles, short stories, etc.

If you would like to submit to this page, please contact Mengyao Liu at lmengyao@uw.edu.

China Land Study Group

The China Land Study Group is an informal group of faculty and students with an interest in issues concerning and related to land in China. It meets throughout the academic year to discuss issues related to geography, the environment, and other land-related current events in China.
