Earn academic credit while working with the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle or the U.S. Consulate General in Vancouver to gain experience in international relations and diplomacy.
The Canadian Studies Center is fortunate to have a close relationship with the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle and the U.S. Consulate General in Vancouver. Through these connections, we are often able to offer students opportunities to work directly in the field of diplomacy and foreign service while also earning academic credit. These are wonderful opportunities to gain experience in international relations in a variety of fields, including political, economic, environmental, border security, defense, and the cultural and diplomatic elements that make this one of the most important and mutually beneficial bilateral relationships that the world has ever known.
