Canadian Studies Visiting Scholar/Professor Program

The Visiting Scholar/Professor Program is designed to support Canadian scholars to conduct research or teach at the University of Washington either for short-term or quarter-long residencies. Visiting scholars/professors work with graduate students, offer courses, speak in classes, participate in UW faculty symposia and generally infuse the program with cutting-edge research on topics critical to Canada and the Canada–U.S. relationship. This program is possible thanks to the support of the Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States (Fulbright Canada), the Government of Québec, and other funding sources. The following is a list of individuals who have been part of our program since the early 2000s and their diverse areas of research and teaching.
