We encourage minors, to engage in internships, study abroad programs, and language study. African Studies minors go on to a wide variety of careers. If you are interested in the minor please contact one of the Jackson School advisors or the African Studies assistant director.<\/p>\n<h2>Graduate Students<\/h2>\n<p>Although the African Studies program does not offer a graduate level degree we as a program foster an academic community for African graduate students and graduate students interested in Africa. If you are interested in graduate work that incorporate African Studies we recommend you find a sponsoring department with faculty who work on African studies. You can use our faculty guide to help identify possible mentors and advisors.
