Jackson School Student Association

The Jackson School Student Association (JSSA) is the student organization for the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. JSSA aims to provide relevant programming and social opportunities for International Studies majors and minors. We host internationally-focused events, facilitate networking between students and professors, and strive to advance the interests of all Jackson School students.

All Jackson School students are welcome and are encouraged to engage with JSSA events and social media to stay up to date with relevant opportunities. Check out our new Facebook group here.

    President of JSSA

Hi everyone! My name is Olga Laskin and I am a senior in the Jackson School pursuing a B.A. in International Studies with a focus in Foreign Policy, Diplomacy, Peace, and Security and a minor in Human Rights. Through my position as JSSA president, I hope to provide opportunities for Jackson School students and faculty to be able to engage with one another and form close connections that will enrich their experiences at UW and beyond. Additionally, I want to help students access the many amazing opportunities that the Jackson School provides to ensure that they are able to take full advantage of their education at UW. I’m excited to see what the JSSA officers and I can bring to the community this year!
