Jackson School Student Association

The Jackson School Student Association (JSSA) is the student organization for the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. JSSA aims to provide relevant programming and social opportunities for International Studies majors and minors. We host internationally-focused events, facilitate networking between students and professors, and strive to advance the interests of all Jackson School students.

All Jackson School students are welcome and are encouraged to engage with JSSA events and social media to stay up to date with relevant opportunities. Check out our new Facebook page:

Marielle Trumbauer is a Senior in the Jackson School Honors Program pursuing a B.A. in International Studies General track with a focus in Foreign Policy, Diplomacy, Peace, and Security. In her own words, “I became the President of the Jackson School Student Association because I wanted to make sure that International Studies majors were able to take full advantage of all of the opportunities that the Jackson School provides them with. Peer-facilitated events have been a great way to enhance the educational and extracurricular experiences of Jackson School students and I am excited to see what else the JSSA Officers and I can bring to the community this year!”
