This list contains information about courses offered at the University of Washington that count towards the Latin American and Caribbean Studies major or minor. Courses are listed by departmental course number and are grouped by area of coursework in the major and minor. The list does not include lower-level Spanish and Portuguese language courses (100- and 200- level grammar courses).
Some courses may have prerequisites or other conditions of enrollment. Information on quarterly course offerings is available at the Office of Student Services (111 Thomson), the LACS Program Office (122 Thomson), or on the LACS website.
Please note that some courses not appearing on this list may count towards the major or minor requirements if they have significant Latin American content. Please consult the LACS Advisor regarding these cases.
