Internships
An internship can provide you with valuable on-site real-world
experience in a field related to your interests or future career.
Within the LAS major or minor, the SISLA internship combines work
in a non-academic setting with guidance and evaluation by a Latin
American Studies faculty member and allows you to receive academic
credit for your work.
The Latin American Studies program is currently offering several
internships with local organizations for which students can earn
undergraduate credit. Students are also free to set up their own
interships. The LAS office is here to help; for more information
on internships, how to apply and receive credit, please contact
our office.
