Mission

UW Center for Korea Studies mission is to foster teaching and research related to Korea at the University of Washington and in North America.

To this end the Center for Korea Studies is currently implementing the following programs:

  • Korea Studies Colloquia Series
  • Visiting scholars program
  • Student scholarships
  • International student exchange programs
  • Outreach program to K-12 educators
  • Korean language textbook development
  • Publication of research on Korea in concert with the University of Washington Press.
