UW JAPAN STUDIES PROGRAM NEWS

Latest NEWS - Mitsubishi Corporation Gift

It is with great excitement that the Japan Studies Program announces a generous gift from the Mitsubishi Corporation. This gift will be used to fund a new lecture series: the Mitsubishi Corporation Lecture Series, whereby the program will bring internationally renowned Japan experts to the University of Washington for three evening lectures. Speakers will be invited from a variety of fields of interest such as economics, history, and political science. Event schedule will be announced later this year and posted at the Events page.

We are grateful for the opportunity to continue working with the Mitsubishi Corporation, which also provided scholarships for JSIS Japan Studies undergraduate and graduate students in 2011 and again in 2012.
