The Daniel Waugh Prize for the Best REECAS MA Thesis

Next spring, the REECAS program will award the 7th annual Daniel C. Waugh Prize for the best REECAS MA thesis submitted in the 2011-12 academic year (theses submitted summer 2011 and thereafter are eligible).

Thesis committee chairs and/or members are invited to nominate the theses they think worthy of this award by emailing a final draft of the thesis and a brief cover letter supporting the nomination by May 18, 2012. Students should have a final draft to their committee members by at least May 15, so faculty have a chance to review the draft before nominating it. Each faculty member may nominate a maximum of two theses.

The REECAS Executive Committee will review the nominees by the end of May and will award $250 and a certificate of achievement at the JSIS convocation.
