Glennys Young has been awarded an Honorable Mention by the Hans Rosenhaput Memorial Book Award of the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation for her book entitled Power and the Sacred in Revolutionary Russia. Congratulations!

Congratulations also go to Sabrina Ramet whose book, Whose Democracy? Nationalism, Religion, and the Doctrine of Collective Rights in Post-1989 Eastern Europe (Rowman and Littlefield, 1997), has been named an Outstanding Academic Book by Choice magazine. In addition, Dr. Rametís edited volume, Eastern Europe: Politics, Culture, and Society since 1939, was just released by Indiana Press in March.
