This workshop
is designed to update educators on various facets of AP Chinese
instruction, including (but not limited to) pedagogical
principles and classroom applications of AP Chinese; the AP
Chinese Exam: format, 2008 exam questions and answers, scoring
guidelines, grades distribution; the Standards-based and
student-centered curriculum; enhancing students' cognitive
skills, learning strategies and problem-solving ability; and AP
Chinese and its implications for college advanced courses.
This
workshop will be held at the University of Washington in Gowen
201 on Saturday,
