This workshop is designed to update educators on various facets of AP Chinese instruction, including (but not limited to) pedagogical principles and classroom applications of AP Chinese; the AP Chinese Exam: format, 2008 exam questions and answers, scoring guidelines, grades distribution; the Standards-based and student-centered curriculum; enhancing students' cognitive skills, learning strategies and problem-solving ability; and AP Chinese and its implications for college advanced courses.

This workshop will be held at the University of Washington in Gowen 201 on Saturday, April 26, 2008. For detailed directions, please visit the directions page. Due to limited seating, the workshop can only accommodate 70 participants. Please register on-line at your earliest convenience. Registration for this workshop is free. Registrants will also receive seven clock hours.
